The rooms were very comfortable and well-appointed with great fixtures in the bathrooms. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to tourist attractions. the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was particularly good.
The service at the hotel was lacking. There was confusion around the inclusive dinner package and no effort was made to clarify or accommodate our dietary preferences.

Receptionist was a bit moody when we arrived as it was 10pm it didn't say on booking website to indicate arrival time, not a great reception when we had travelled for 7 hours.

We only stayed one night, The room was comfortable but a little on the cold side when we got there. Managed to get it warm after about an hour of the gas fire going. But overall the room was very good.
This was the first night in 7 yrs that we were on our own (No Children). We did not like the fact that the resturant was closed for a private function. Due to this we had to go out and find another resturant. Nb/ We were very much looking forward to dining at the resturant, and being able to walk back to our room. In our view, It would have been nice to have been contacted before our arrival and told of the situation. This way we could have prebooked another resturant ahead of time. But instead we arrived at 4.00pm and then upon reading our welcome letter found that we had to find somewhere else to dine for the evening. Not an easy task at that time of day, if you are looking for a nice resturant in an eartquake damaged city where lots of returants are closed and you are not wanting to drive far. Then when we got back after being out for dinner, we had to park our car out on the street as the parks were taken by people attending the private function. I thought this was very bad, in my view the car parks should be held for people staying at the hotel. So this has left a pretty sour taste with us, also another couple agreed when it was raised at the breakfast table the next morning.

The hotel that I stayed in Christchurch was simply amazing! the luxurious amenities and exclusive facilities were so satisfying. the room was cozy and provided a relaxing atmosphere. the private bathroom with a spacious bathtub was perfect to enjoy a pleasant soak. the professional service provided by the hotel staff was impressive, and the restaurant offered a delicious breakfast.
Although there were not many negative aspects to mention, I did notice that the bedding could have been more comfortable. Despite this minor issue, the hotel was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

The hotel's welcome drinks and free happy hour were a nice touch. the room was located in a convenient and central area, with easy access to restaurants and shops. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and spacious.
The hotel had limited vegetarian options for meals. the walls between the rooms were quite thin, which resulted in some noise disturbances.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is in close proximity to all the major tourist attractions. It is just a short distance away from Christchurch city centre, making it easy to explore the city. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, allowing guests to have a variety of dining options. the hotel is situated in the center of town, making it easily accessible to shops and other amenities.
The hotel lacks vegetarian options in its menu, which can be disappointing who have dietary restrictions.
